What to wear for St. Patrick’s Day🍀

Well hello my loves!!

I know I’m not the only one out there who is SO glad Monday is over! Bring on the rest of the work week so we can get to St. Patrick’s Day! One of the most fun, festive holidays there is! It’s always a great excuse to dress up, eat some corn beef and cabbage (YUMMM!) and have a few drinks with friends!

St. Patrick’s Day is this Sunday and you are probably thinking about what the heck to wear! You want to look cute but not cheesy. Trendy yet still comfortable. I have your back ladies! See below for some fashion inspiration. Whether you are going out or just Netflix and chill!

This green ball cap is the perfect pop of color if you want to be subtle! Love leather leggings!!

Pair a graphic t-shirt and black distressed denim for a cute, comfy look! Throw on a denim jacket with this outfit!

Remember, accessories make the outfit! Love this plaid scarf and beanie!!

Plaid shirts are so fun yet sexy! Pair with a skirt and some knee highs!

Date night?! Wear a trendy romper to show off some leg!

Want to look polished? Tuck a black top into a full green skirt!

I sure hope this helps and gives you some fashion inspiration! Maybe you’ll even find your own pot of gold at the end of a rainbow!🍀🌈

What a Gentleman should wear on Valentine’s Day👔

Fancy meeting you here! Yesterday, I shared with y’all some ideas about what the lovely ladies should wear for this upcoming Valentine’s Day.

I have had a few people ask me, “Alicia, how about a post for all the fella’s out there? What should we wear?” You know I didn’t forget you guys…come on! So, you want to impress your significant other on date night or just want to feel & look your absolute best for the holiday! Let’s do the damn thing!!

Casual-

Tired of always wearing regular blue denim? Switch it up with a black pair!

Vday Tip: Opt for red kicks instead of black!

Love the look of layers and you’ll keep warm!

Semi formal-

Don’t forget to iron your shirt!

**Try to remember to match your accessories. If you are going with brown shoes, flip your belt over to the brown side. A brown, leather watch band would look killer as well!**

Formal-

If you are feeling extra bold, go for a burgundy colored suit!

See how the brown dress shoes just pop with the blue suit? Black shoes would have been too dark!

Never forget to add on accessories! A watch, some bracelets, fun dress socks, a pocket square that compliments well with your tie! Cuff links…the possibilities are endless!

PS: It never hurts my feelings when my husband smells better than me! Go for it🔥

Hopefully this helps and inspires! I’m here if you guys have any last minute fashion advice questions. If you enjoyed this post, please feel free to follow me here and on social media! Instagram handle is @personalstylist ❤️❤️

Have a wonderful Valentine’s Day 2019!!

Cheers🍾⚡️

What to get your love for Valentine’s Day!

Why, fancy meeting you here! Welcome back! I sure hope your weekend is treating you well so far! Hopefully you are relaxing and enjoying a breather from work. It’s a rainy, cold evening in Sacramento right now. Perfect to be indoors, bundled, and writing with my dogs right by my side! Are you stressing about what to get your significant other for Valentine’s Day?! Whether you haven’t been dating long OR you’ve been married forever! Read on for a few, simple ideas that they are sure to love!

  • Homemade scrapbook (My absolute personal fav! You can’t get more thoughtful than this! Chronological order is always fun. Get supplies at Michaels, Hobby Lobby, or even Target. Add stickers, captions, inside jokes, song lyrics. There are no rules)
  • A customized valentine’s day playlist with all their favorite songs or your guys favs! You could even go the romantic route and play all sappy, love songs. (Play over dinner and drinks)
  • Which ties into a tasty home cooked meal! Cook their favorite dish of all time or I personally recommend some bbq’d filets from Costco, grilled asparagus, and a scalloped potato. Remember, garlic makes any dish! Don’t forget the candles for ambiance. You can’t go wrong!
  • Sports jersey! Their favorite team of course. My husband recently got a new, Sacramento Kings jersey for Marvin Bagley the 3rd! He’s a talented, newer NBA player who he just loves.
  • Pack a picnic and head to a nearby park! Talk about easy and romantic. Whether permitting of course. Pack their fav foods and drink! Most importantly, put the cell phones away!! This is a great opportunity to connect and spend quality time together.
  • DAY TRIP!! Go somewhere they have never been! Take a drive, make a dinner reservation, and play some awesome tunes.
  • On a side note, I challenge you to make a homemade card NOT a store bought one. It shows you took the time to put in that extra effort. They are so easy and fun to make. Get some blank cards, stickers, gel pens.. and go to town!

I’d love to hear feedback from you if any of these ideas were a hit! I think this is truly a great start if you’ve been stumped on what to get your love this year. I know if you’ve been with someone for years it can be difficult because you feel like you’ve done it all! Go get your creative on! Have fun doing it!! Hopefully Valentine’s Day 2019 is one for the books. Don’t forget to tell everyone special in your life you love them. Life’s too damn short!

Until next time loves!!

xoxo, Alicia
