First things first, hello and welcome to my lifestyle blog! I’m Alicia, 29 years young, and a lover of life. I’ve been meaning to start my own blog for years now to be completely honest. I’ve been through a lot and want to share what’s on my heart. I want to inspire, educate, and be here to support anyone who needs it. Fashion is my passion, but I am a gal that has many hobbies and interests. Life is too short right?

It’s a new year…2019 (which is insane to me still) and time is only flying. Two weeks into January, my gut told me it was time to get healthy again. Stop putting it off. Stop making excuses. Figure out something that works for you. It got to a point where none of my clothes/shoes/bras were fitting anymore. As you ladies or gents know, this is our absolute worst nightmare. Especially since everything is crazy expensive to replace. I had little to no energy once I hit 2pm on the daily. Power naps and sometimes even a second starbucks run would get me through the day. My diet was absolutely terrible and I hadn’t been consistently exercising. I hit my heaviest weight. Completely embarrassed to post photos on Instagram or Facebook. Terrified to get undressed in front of my husband in broad daylight. All it took was one day for my mother in law to say, “Alicia you should just try keto! Give it a few weeks and see what’ll happen!”

Ever since that night I have been motivated, disciplined, and hopeful for future results. I am starting to get my health back on track. 10lbs down so far. More energy than I’ve ever had. Clothes that I haven’t worn in years are fitting me once again. After a week on keto, I could fit into a pair of jeans that were two sizes smaller!! I actually felt somewhat confident when one of my girlfriends took a photo of my hubs and I at our super bowl party.

2019 is going to be my year. It’s OUR year. Let’s throw our hair in a messy bun, down our espresso, and handle business!
